If you would like more information about our research, are interested in collaborating with us or using our plasmids, or would like to join the Murray Lab as a student or postdoc, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are always interested in hearing from potential undergraduate and graduate students, or postdoctoral researchers interested in joining the lab. Pleases email Andy Murray ( directly.

We strive to make any reagents produced by the lab freely available to the scientific community, if you are interested in obtaining any of our DNA constructus, viral reagents or anything else we have generated in the lab, please email Andy Murray ( or Miranda Mathews (

The Murray Lab is proudly located within the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour (SWC). The SWC brings together world-leading neuroscientists to understand how neural circuits give rise to fundamental processes underpinning behaviour.

The Murray Lab aims to understand how the nervous system generates flexible and adaptable motor behaviours. We do this by probing the neural circuits for sensory-motor transformations, in particular in the brainstem and spinal cord.
